About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs using AutoCAD / Autodesk software
Generate process descriptions and technical documentation
Create specifications for process equipment including pumps, valves and heat exchangers
Work with customers and internal teams to define user requirements
Support technical proposals and quotation content
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with customers
Support HAZOP / HACCP and design risk assessments
Collaborate with mechanical design, automation and project teams
Support commissioning activities where required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background in Chemical or Process Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree level)
Experience in process design and development of P&IDs
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (Plant 3D advantageous)
Understanding of process equipment and systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
