💰 £38,000 - £48,000 per year

About the role

  • Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs using AutoCAD / Autodesk software
  • Generate process descriptions and technical documentation
  • Create specifications for process equipment including pumps, valves and heat exchangers
  • Work with customers and internal teams to define user requirements
  • Support technical proposals and quotation content
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with customers
  • Support HAZOP / HACCP and design risk assessments
  • Collaborate with mechanical design, automation and project teams
  • Support commissioning activities where required

Requirements

  • Background in Chemical or Process Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree level)
  • Experience in process design and development of P&IDs
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (Plant 3D advantageous)
  • Understanding of process equipment and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
