About the role
- The Opportunity: Come join Coverdash’s Insurance Sales Team as a Commercial Insurance Producer; you’ll help insure small to medium size commercial accounts, quote and rate new business leads, and assist in scaling a team of in-house insurance producers.
- What You’ll Do: Work closely with clients across multiple industries, leveraging your deep understanding of small business operations; provide expert risk management guidance to help businesses protect their assets; partner with almost every major insurance carrier to find the perfect coverage solutions; utilize our proprietary technology platform designed specifically for brokers.
- Work Environment: Coverdash is a remote-first workplace with an office location in NYC. We offer complete flexibility with this role, which can be based anywhere in the United States. Working hours align with time zone: 9am-6pm ET for those on the East Coast, or 8am-5pm PT for those on the West Coast.
- What You’ll Be Responsible For: P&C Commercial insurance sales; Prepare, market, and quote rates for new business; Grow a profitable book of business by following up on leads in a timely manner; Guide on risk management practices; Build relationships with commercial underwriters; Independently sell accounts up to $20MM in volume revenue.
- Qualifications: 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience; Commercial lines P&C insurance license in good standing; Experience with managing large volumes of inbound leads; Experience navigating multiple insurance carriers for ratings and quotes; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent customer-facing skills, including telephone etiquette and email correspondence; Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, and solve problems; Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment and collaborate with other team members; Excellent time management skills; Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology systems and software applications; Bachelor’s Degree or related field or equivalent work experience; Experience working with CRM/AMS and comparative rating platforms; Prior insurtech or startup work experience a plus; The pay range for this role is: $100,000 to $150,000 per year, including on target commission / variable pay.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience required
Commercial lines P&C insurance license in good standing
