About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing and enhancing pricing models, rating structures, and optimisation techniques to support business objectives
- Working closely with underwriting, analytics, and business stakeholders to provide insight and recommendations for pricing decisions
- Contributing to continuous improvement by automating, streamlining, and documenting pricing processes and tools
- Using and developing expertise in pricing and analytical platforms, including Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL, and Python
- Presenting technical proposals to stakeholders to support governance and decision-making processes
- Leading projects and managing key relationships, while supporting the development of others
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Pricing, Data Science, or Actuarial function in an insurance environment
- Numerical Skills
- A keen eye for problem solving with a willingness to learn and ask questions
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas and work independently
- An organised and thoughtful way of working
- A commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues
