About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, edit, and manage presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, reports, and communications for leadership meetings and strategic projects.
  • Translate complex operational and financial information into concise executive-ready summaries and recommendations.
  • Track projects, actions, deadlines, commitments, dependencies, risks, and open issues; proactively flag delays and escalation needs.
  • Coordinate updates and information flow across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Provide project-management support for strategic firm initiatives, including milestone tracking, status reporting, and measurable roadmaps.
  • Triage competing priorities and partner with Administrative Business Partners on calendars and follow-ups.
  • Lead change-management efforts, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption tracking.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Own agendas, pre-reads, PowerPoint decks, and content for leadership meetings, annual offsites, and Town Halls.
  • Capture and distribute meeting notes, ownership, and next steps.
  • Standardize operating rhythms, templates, and reporting formats.
  • Serve as a coordination point for leadership requests, information needs, and updates across TMG and Council Advisors.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
  • 6–8 years of experience as a VP, strategic initiatives professional, strategy consultant, or executive projects manager.
  • Experience in a high-performance professional services environment such as consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous, fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating directly with senior executives and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including executive-level presentation development and data analysis.
  • Expertise producing status reports, program updates, and executive dashboards.
  • Exceptional judgment and sound decision-making ability.
  • Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and resilience when handling sensitive information.
  • Proven project management, tracking, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint storytelling.
  • Ability to translate complex or ambiguous information into clear, concise, actionable guidance.
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues into options, insights, and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, performance metrics, and financial concepts.
