About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design structural and mechanical installations, modifications, and repairs using CATIA V5.
  • Oversee both new designs and revisions to existing ones.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team.
  • Prepare reports and data packages for design approval and certification.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and other departments to support aircraft modifications.
  • Assist in the development and updates of the Design Manual.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 15 years of aerospace design experience.
  • At least five years of experience using CATIA V5.
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft sheet-metal design, machined components, and mechanical installations.
  • Knowledge of aircraft certification requirements, aerospace materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
