About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and management for one or more accounts or significant audit projects
  • Focus on growth, operationalization of new products and solutions, and oversight of product management for Content Enablement
  • Direct successful delivery of audit services by managing assigned teams and ensuring client needs and expectations are met
  • Develop and implement key metrics to drive quality, productivity and consistent customer experience
  • Review audit progress against metrics and direct activities to achieve business goals and customer expectations
  • Coordinate with Business Optimization and other support functions
  • Improve efficiency and productivity while reducing operational costs and maintaining compliance
  • Support continuous development of innovative audit solutions and optimize audit processes
  • Manage customer problems and conflicts, communicate directly with customers, and serve as the top escalation point
  • Identify account growth opportunities and collaborate with SAM on existing and potential clients
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Partner with clients and sales teams on renewals and RFP processes
  • Analyze customer needs and service requirements, recommend pricing structures and contract requirements, and contribute to RFP responses
  • Facilitate contract terminations or scope changes and negotiate account transition procedures and prices
  • Plan audit staffing, workloads and staff assignments
  • Lead selection, supervision, evaluation and development of staff
  • Set objectives and conduct performance reviews
  • Work with Human Resources on performance management, progression and compensation actions
  • Resolve employee concerns consistent with Human Resources policies
  • Support training, career progression, knowledge sharing, best practices, benchmarking, whitepapers and IT tool enhancements
  • Ensure staff training on policies, procedures and best practices
  • Proactively plan for succession and growth to prevent productivity and customer-service gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 years healthcare auditing, claims or healthcare billing experience required
  • Prior experience with direct client contact (account management, audit, sales, etc.) required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and claim databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 5 years people management experience, preferably managing large teams, required
  • Strong ability to manage and create action from metrics
  • Budgeting/forecasting experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship building skills across functions and business lines
  • Client-facing experience (account management, audit, sales)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry-based standards
  • Training, education and required certifications must be maintained as required
