About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the execution of internal and external audits of processes and procedures to identify conformities and non-conformities, issue specific reports and provide guidance for appropriate corrective actions, in order to maintain a quality management system that ensures compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to national and international standards, according to company policies.
  • Support the preparation of Cotesa's Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO) by managing pre-employment, periodic and termination medical exams for company employees, taking into account the risks of each activity described in the PGR (Risk Management Program) and current legislation, in order to contribute to meeting deadlines and ensuring employees are fit to perform their duties.
  • Provide support for the mandatory and supplementary safety training program, monitoring the development, delivery and control of training, ensuring that procedures are followed according to the requirements and risks of each activity and current legislation, to help qualify staff to perform their duties.
  • Support the implementation process of the Headquarters' CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), provide technical support and collaborate in organizing the SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention), aiming to comply with current legislation.
  • Support the execution of the Headquarters' Emergency Response Action Plan, developing company standards and supporting area managers in implementation, to ensure teams are prepared to respond quickly and correctly and that consequences are minimized.
  • Develop and promote a culture of health, safety and environment through the development of policies, programs and processes, so that QSST acts as a facilitator and partner to other company areas, aiming to ensure compliance with current legislation, the Integrated Management System and the health and well-being of employees in the workplace.
  • Provide assistance and perform other related professional activities inherent to the role, as directed or requested by the immediate supervisor.
