About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain hands-on experience in critically appraising and interpreting complex statistics
  • Planning and analysing clinical trial data
  • Synthesising evidence with one-to-one training and mentoring from Statistics team
  • Work on projects involving data analysis and communication of methodologies and results in publications, health economic models, and health technology assessments
  • Collaborate with experienced Statistics team in statistical analysis plans and data communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An undergraduate degree-level qualification in a scientific or mathematical discipline (minimum/expected 2:1 or equivalent) with a focus on statistics and data analysis. A Master’s or PhD would be highly advantageous
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Excellent written English
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • A good knowledge of programming, with proficiency in R and an understanding of other similar languages. Please note that our recruitment process involves an assessment exercise, which you will be asked to complete using R
  • The ability to use your initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within project teams
