Key responsibilities & impact

Gain hands-on experience in critically appraising and interpreting complex statistics
Planning and analysing clinical trial data
Synthesising evidence with one-to-one training and mentoring from Statistics team
Work on projects involving data analysis and communication of methodologies and results in publications, health economic models, and health technology assessments
Collaborate with experienced Statistics team in statistical analysis plans and data communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

An undergraduate degree-level qualification in a scientific or mathematical discipline (minimum/expected 2:1 or equivalent) with a focus on statistics and data analysis. A Master’s or PhD would be highly advantageous
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong mathematical ability
Excellent written English
Advanced skills in Excel
A good knowledge of programming, with proficiency in R and an understanding of other similar languages. Please note that our recruitment process involves an assessment exercise, which you will be asked to complete using R
The ability to use your initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within project teams
