About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain hands-on experience in critically appraising and interpreting complex statistics
- Planning and analysing clinical trial data
- Synthesising evidence with one-to-one training and mentoring from Statistics team
- Work on projects involving data analysis and communication of methodologies and results in publications, health economic models, and health technology assessments
- Collaborate with experienced Statistics team in statistical analysis plans and data communication
Requirements
What you’ll need- An undergraduate degree-level qualification in a scientific or mathematical discipline (minimum/expected 2:1 or equivalent) with a focus on statistics and data analysis. A Master’s or PhD would be highly advantageous
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong mathematical ability
- Excellent written English
- Advanced skills in Excel
- A good knowledge of programming, with proficiency in R and an understanding of other similar languages. Please note that our recruitment process involves an assessment exercise, which you will be asked to complete using R
- The ability to use your initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within project teams
