About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take a leading role in the development of health economic models across a variety of disease areas
  • Deliver high-quality projects and build client relationships
  • Help to drive business development
  • Oversee and support junior team members as the team expands
  • Provide strategic advice to clients from model conceptualization through to interpretation of results
  • Training more junior members of the Health Economics team
  • Delivering technical work to progress your own modelling skills
  • Line manage Health Economist Interns to develop mentorship skills (opportunities may arise)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically no less than 2 years’ professional experience in applying health economic and mathematical modelling techniques in the healthcare setting
  • Working on health economic projects directly with clients, from project initiation to completion
  • Leading a project team, including delegating tasks and managing the time of others coupled with the ability to manage timelines across multiple projects
  • A proven ability to build robust and sustainable client relationships
  • A degree level or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (minimum 3.3 GPA)
  • Experience with developing health economic models for submission to HTA bodies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel and VBA
  • The ability to use your initiative and work independently
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to respond to changing deadlines
  • Prior experience of having mentored others in any setting (desirable)
  • Experience with other software (such as R, C++, STATA) alongside a willingness to learn new technical and programming skills (desirable)
