About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategic management of crossings programme across IC2 schemes.
- Management and co-ordination of design, contracts and specialist subcontractors to deliver the programme.
- Manage on-site operations for Tunnelling, HDD, pipe jacking, and open-cut works.
- Oversee Tunnelling, HDD & Pipe-jacking activities, ensuring alignment and quality.
- Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions.
- Develop crossing strategies and select appropriate methods.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards.
- Ensure all quality standards are met in the development and construction of the crossing design.
- Lead the implementation of a production management approach to delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- SMSTS
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Supervisor (TWS)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or IOSHH (Desirable)
- Formal Civil Engineering Qualification (Civil / Construction or Geotechnical) (Desirable)
