About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This role will be focused on HV Transmission and Distribution.
The individual will have overall accountability for successful project delivery including initiation, planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out.
An individual who provides leadership, project management and inspires a multi-disciplinary team.
They will have the ability to determine the most appropriate means of satisfying the customer, project requirements, key objectives and constraints; Safety, time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience working in a similar role on a Substation project
Worked in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders
Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
HND or Degree level in Engineering or Management / Construction discipline
Experience in Design Management
Management/construction or experience equivalent
Holds a current driving licence
Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
Experience of working on a variety of National Grid project types.
Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery
Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts
Proficient in commercial/project management communications
Experience in implementing safe systems of work
Working in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders.
