About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Working in a multi-disciplinary team delivering infrastructure projects.
Responsible for delivery of civil and structural (highways) advice, analysis, calculations, designs, reports and specifications.
Leading varying size projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective.
Communicate designs effectively to the supporting teams and clients.
Attendance for site visits, design reviews and client meetings.
Support and mentor junior team members.
Develop early solutions for drainage solutions, improvements and/or renewals.
Organising discipline staff, assisting allocating work and ensuring delivery against planned timescales.
Demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety including CDM responsibilities.
Ensure work is carried out with relevant codes, standards and procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum BEng Civil or substantial experience to compensate.
Membership of Professional Industry Body
CSCS card
Chartership with ICE, CIHT or similar (Desirable)
Further industry recognised training and qualifications (Desirable)
Project Management qualifications (Desirable)
CDM qualifications (Desirable)
Hydraulic Modelling (Desirable)
Experience with new and historic highways (Desirable)
