Senior Hydraulic Engineer, Water

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working within our water sector team, providing specialist hydraulic support on our water projects including thermofluids, network flows and hydraulic modelling.
- Independently produce and manage production of engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawings, specifications and reports for civils infrastructure with a strong focus on constructability.
- Support the designs, assessment, optimisation and analysis for water and wastewater processes, including analysis techniques to be used within computational fluid dynamics analysis for water/wastewater processes.
- Responsible for modelling and analysis outputs, providing effective design solutions looking at short, medium and longer-term impacts.
- Interfacing closely with other disciplines and construction operations.
- Delivering to budget and ensuring changes are compensated for.
- Challenging and delivering value engineering solutions.
- Communicating confidently and authoritatively with clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
- Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional chartered institute.
- CSCS card holder.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Additional technically focused qualifications / training
