Site Engineer
Costain Group PLCSite Engineer ensuring accurate and safe construction projects for Thames Water with a focus on water and wastewater projects. Managing on-site activities and compliance with safety standards in Thames Valley and South regions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure that construction projects are completed accurately and safely.
- Provide technical advice and manage staff on-site.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee all on-site activities to align with project’s design, specifications, and legal requirements.
- Manage daily site activities and solve problems during construction.
- Help keep the project running smoothly from start to finish.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Water or Wastewater experience preferred or a willingness to learn rapidly and be curious
- Degree/HNC level qualification in a relevant engineering subject.
- Understanding of engineering principles.
- Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
- Some civil / MEICA construction experience.
- Design Management experience.
- Relevant CSCS Card.
- Full Clean Drivers Licence
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Desirable)
- ICE Training agreement (Desirable)
- CAD competent (Desirable)
- Vocational Training (successful experience at Graduate Engineer level) (Desirable)
