About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of designers responsible for all aspects of plant layout and piping design
Using CAD and digital technology to produce 3D models and detailed general arrangement drawings
Develop layouts of pumping stations, pipework, and similar systems in the waste water industry
Coordinate vendor equipment packages into the design and model access platforms in compliance with standards
Contribute to design reviews and ensure coordinated and clash-free models
Attend internal and client meetings to discuss issues and progress
Plan for adequate resources and manhour usage reporting to lead engineer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified to City & Guilds or HNC/HND minimum
EngTech or I-Eng ICE professional qualification (Desirable)
Degree or equivalent (Desirable)
Significant experience in their discipline or a closely related one
Proficiency in the delivery of piping and plant design across multiple work categories
Exceptional CAD skills including Revit & AutoCAD
Experienced in production of relevant engineering deliverables including 3D models, General Arrangements, Pipe support details
