Commissioning Manager
Costain Group PLCMEICA Commissioning Manager role at CMDP+ JV on Southern Water, overseeing MEICA activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing allocated MEICA engineers ensuring work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, Quality, program and good working practices.
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all MEICA activities from design through to scheme final completion.
- Reporting of MEICA activities and progress to the relevant C&DLs/Program Managers.
- Assisting C&DL & Program Manager in the selection and allocation of MEICA resources.
- Providing Technical & Quality support for Project M&E Site Managers.
- Management of M&E subcontractors to ensure they meet safety, program, quality and design requirements.
- Ensure MEICA Engineers fulfil their R&R’s and deliver schemes in a safe compliant manner.
- Monitoring and reporting of key milestone program dates.
- Monitoring and reporting of MEICA related Project risks or potential efficiencies.
- Carry out new starter MEICA inductions.
- Assist in the reviews of Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with the Area Commissioning Manager and Project Delivery Teams.
- Engage with client stakeholders through project lifecycle (PM, FPM, SWOPS).
Requirements
What you’ll need- MEICA, Mechanical / Electrical background
- Water / waste water experience
- Relevant degree / HND or equivalent
