About the role

  • Travel within respective zones and perform augmentation support to other zones as needed
  • Support Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military officers conference and meeting spaces
  • Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces
  • Install projection screens, plasma TVs, and different types of speakers
  • Installation of AV systems on client sites
  • Read blueprints and wire AV racks
  • Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment
  • Understand and work with testing, analyses, and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software
  • Work heavily with Audio Visual equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design
  • Access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS with installation and troubleshooting system hardware

Requirements

  • A minimum of one of the following certifications: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification, or AVIXA CTS certification
  • TS Clearance
  • 5 years of experience with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, Extron
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job
  • Must be comfortable working on ladders and on lifts as required
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
