About the role
- Post accounting entries according to fiscal and financial documents
- Classify accounts according to the company’s chart of accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliations of balance sheet and income accounts
- Analyze trial balances, balance sheets and profit & loss statements (DRE)
- Integrate tax, payroll and fixed assets modules with the accounting system
- Record payroll, taxes and other operational transactions
- Prepare and validate statutory/ancillary accounting obligations (DEFIS, ECF, ECD, IBGE, DMED, DIMOB, DOCEC)
Requirements
- Completed or in-progress degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis)
- More than 2 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of accounting systems/software
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
