About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide thorough, consistent, and independent examinations of grant applications using pre-established criteria
- Conduct reviews impartially, objectively, and without bias
- Evaluate proposals for value, quality, and likelihood of success
- Review applications concerning broadband deployment and adoption on Tribal Land
- Review programs promoting broadband access for remote learning, telework, or telehealth resources
- Work as part of a team to complete reviews efficiently and meet stringent deadlines
- Perform quality assurance practices and foster task completion and accuracy
- Attend all required trainings provided by the project team
- Be available to conduct reviews from mid-December 2026 through spring 2027
- Disclose conflicts of interest before conducting merit reviews
- Carry out Corner Alliance’s commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience
- Technical understanding and at least 2 years of experience in one or more relevant areas
- Experience with deployment of fiber, wireless, satellite, or similar telecommunications technology, or broadband network design/engineering
- Experience with distance learning, telehealth, telework, workforce development, or digital inclusion program design/implementation, or similar technical expertise
- US citizenship
- Ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
- Ability to disclose and avoid real or apparent conflicts of interest
- Availability for reviews from mid-December 2026 through spring 2027
- Knowledge of financial assistance programs and grants administration viewed favorably
- Experience with Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian communities viewed favorably
