Key responsibilities & impact

Design and understand actual problems before coding
Rapidly prototype using AI tools
Use agentic coding while enforcing architecture guidelines and clean design patterns
Document and trace important design decisions
Blueprint software and features before implementation
Make and own architecture decisions, including evaluating microservices versus simpler approaches
Design cloud-native product architecture
Conduct constructive, high-standard code reviews
Build and maintain AI agentic workflows
Build and maintain reliable, observable, safely reprocessable data processing pipelines
Ship features end to end across React frontend, Python services, and AWS infrastructure
Make quality measurable through evaluation sets, tracing, and latency and cost budgets
Integrate with customers’ enterprise systems and business data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Multiple years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with ownership of architecture decisions
Practical, current experience with AI-assisted development
Understanding of cloud native architecture, ideally on AWS
End-to-end reach across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, ideally taking features through production
High speed combined with high structural discipline
Strong communication skills to explain and defend architecture decisions
Experience with React, Python, AWS infrastructure, AI agentic workflows, data processing pipelines, databases, data structures, storage, cloud functions, and infrastructure as code
