About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for development and maintenance of periodic reports
- Revises rates for various programs and prepares filing memoranda to obtain insurance department approval
- Aids in designing and pricing new products or rating plans
- Analyzes experience and performs miscellaneous research activities
- Assists in developing management reports that are used to monitor performance, behavior, and results of company goals and objectives
- Assist actuaries in other matters as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field or commensurate experience
- 1-3 years relevant working experience a plus
- Experience and/or aptitude in Excel
- Experience and/or aptitude in data manipulation tools such as Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access a plus
- Credit for completion of one or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams a plus.
