About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of periodic reports
  • Revises rates for various programs and prepares filing memoranda to obtain insurance department approval
  • Aids in designing and pricing new products or rating plans
  • Analyzes experience and performs miscellaneous research activities
  • Assists in developing management reports that are used to monitor performance, behavior, and results of company goals and objectives
  • Assist actuaries in other matters as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field or commensurate experience
  • 1-3 years relevant working experience a plus
  • Experience and/or aptitude in Excel
  • Experience and/or aptitude in data manipulation tools such as Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access a plus
  • Credit for completion of one or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams a plus.
