About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for development and maintenance of periodic reports
Revises rates for various programs and prepares filing memoranda to obtain insurance department approval
Aids in designing and pricing new products or rating plans
Analyzes experience and performs miscellaneous research activities
Assists in developing management reports that are used to monitor performance, behavior, and results of company goals and objectives
Assist actuaries in other matters as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field or commensurate experience
1-3 years relevant working experience a plus
Experience and/or aptitude in Excel
Experience and/or aptitude in data manipulation tools such as Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Access a plus
Credit for completion of one or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams a plus.
