Create interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI tailored to business needs
Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions to assist with Business Intelligence reporting needs
Develop and maintain measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric
Integrate data from diverse sources (Delta Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Excel, SharePoint, third-party APIs)
Optimize reports for usability, performance, and scalability
Monitor and maintain platform health, ensuring smooth operation of reports, dashboards, apps, and semantic models
Manage and resolve service desk tickets related to Fabric/Power BI support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving report and platform issues
Create and maintain documentation for Fabric/Power BI platform components, including best practices, standards, and troubleshooting guides
Requirements
Strong understanding of Power BI reports, design, architecture, administration, and governance
Hands-on experience in issue resolution and performance optimization on the Microsoft Fabric platform
Experience with Delta Lake
SQL and data modeling skills
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), Python and SQL
Familiarity with Azure data platform components (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL)
Ability to manage Power BI service desk tickets efficiently, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving report and platform issues
Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
5+ years in BI, data engineering
Previous experience working with insurance data is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Fabric components and features preferred (OneLake, Lakehouse, warehouse, pipelines, Synapse, dataflows)
Hands on data modeling experience
Hands on experience with Delta Lake
Experience in troubleshooting Power BI Service, Report Server, semantic models, and dataset refresh failures
