The Program Manager, Resource Navigation will provide administrative and programmatic support to the disaster case management program.
The Program Manager, Resource Navigation will oversee scheduling and training of up to 10 AmeriCorps fellows.
This role will assist in establishing community partnerships and finding resources for those affected by the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires.
This role will assist at the Rebuilding and Recovery Center and help direct survivors to appropriate recovery resources.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a background in disaster response working directly with trauma-affected communities, and a deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Social Work, Community Outreach, Public Administration, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience. Masters preferred.
Knowledge of FEMA Individual Assistance Programs, Disaster Case Management Programs, and experience commensurate with the position.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in program coordination, disaster recovery, or community outreach
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Familiarity with community resources for disaster-affected populations and local knowledge of Los Angeles
Excellent written and spoken English; good communication skills and convincing presenter; proven forward planning and strategic skills; strong public relations skills and network building; good training and facilitation skills.
