Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Team, providing insight and recommendations on financial performance, risk management, and resource allocation.
Lead development of short- and long-term financial plans and strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and growth.
Manage a finance team with 4 direct reports in Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Payroll; mentor and develop team members.
Oversee financial operations and reporting (monthly forecasting, cashflow) on grants, programs and overhead; ensure expenditures align with grant and program budgets.
Oversee management of NICRA and provisional fringe accounting and reconciliations; manage consolidation of subsidiaries Haiti Takes Root and Relief Compass.
Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with US GAAP and 2 CFR part 200; advanced knowledge of Sage Intacct; manage monthly and annual close cycles.
Coordinate annual audit activities including PBC and schedule preparation and manage relationships with external auditors; oversee donor audits and annual 990 report.
Manage treasury functions: monitor cash flow, manage domestic and international banking relationships, oversee endowment and FX exposure, ensure secure disbursement to field offices and partners.
Analyze financial data and present reports; assist Sr Budget Manager in annual budgeting and planning; support COO and board committees.
Requirements
Must have experience managing non-profit accounting including GIK, donated services, SOA, balance sheet and full grant life cycle.
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and 2 CFR part 200 regulations.

Minimum of a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA.
CPA or CMA or commitment to passing achieving one or the other within 12 months of hire.
Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP platform.
