About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shaping the culture we're famous for - helping define "how we work around here"
- Leading the development and delivery of Cooper Parry's culture strategy, ensuring our values, behaviours and people experience evolve alongside our ambitious growth plans.
- Using colleague insight, engagement data and cultural diagnostics to understand what's really happening across the business — and turn findings into meaningful action.
- Designing initiatives, frameworks and interventions that strengthen belonging, accountability, leadership capability and behavioural consistency.
- Partnering with senior leaders to embed culture into everyday decision-making rather than treating it as a standalone programme.
- Playing a key role in ensuring our culture scales successfully through acquisitions, new markets and international growth.
- Championing belonging and inclusion – making sure every voice has a place
- Leading delivery of our DE&I strategy with a particular focus on driving meaningful, measurable outcomes rather than tick-box activity.
- Supporting and developing our colleague communities and inclusion networks, helping them maximise impact across the business.
- Using data, insight and lived experience to identify opportunities to improve representation, inclusion and belonging.
- Partnering with stakeholders across the People team to embed inclusion throughout the colleague lifecycle, from attraction and onboarding through to development and progression.
- Keeping us connected to emerging thinking, industry best practice and innovative approaches that help us stay ahead of the curve.
- Turning insight into action - because listening only matters if you do something with it
- Working closely with our Engagement Manager and Internal Communications team to understand colleague sentiment and organisational trends.
- Owning and translating culture, engagement and inclusion insights into practical recommendations for leaders and executive teams.
- Creating compelling narratives around what colleagues are experiencing and where interventions can create the biggest impact.
- Building meaningful measures of success and demonstrate the value of culture and inclusion initiatives through data and outcomes.
- Influencing leaders and building capability - the trusted advisor bit
- Acting as a senior advisor to leadership teams on culture, inclusion and colleague experience.
- Designing and facilitating workshops, leadership sessions and capability programmes that strengthen inclusive leadership and cultural consistency.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience leading culture, organisational development, colleague experience, DE&I or related people initiatives.
- A track record of turning organisational insight into successful cultural or behavioural change programmes.
- Strong consulting, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside senior leaders.
- Confidence using people data, engagement insights and qualitative feedback to identify priorities and measure success.
- Experience designing and implementing initiatives that drive belonging, inclusion, engagement and performance.
- Outstanding facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how culture drives business outcomes.
