About the role
- Define and maintain the systems design for core loops, progression, rewards and economy (sources/sinks, pacing, difficulty), ensuring they align with player needs and business goals
- Build and evolve a LiveOps strategy and content roadmap (events, seasonal mechanics, IAP offers and ad-driven promos) that drives engagement and revenue
- Design and implement in-game experiments (A/B tests, event variations) and use the results to inform design decisions; iterate so each update measurably improves retention and monetization
- Specify clear, developer-ready design documents and balancing sheets; be the single source of truth for feature scope, rationale and success metrics
- Stay on top of casual F2P market trends and top-grossing competitors; pitch new content, meta features or mechanics (e.g., collections, passes, streaks, time-limited challenges) that fit our audience
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (design, engineering, art, QA, marketing) to deliver features and LiveOps smoothly; participate in agile rituals to align with development cycles and product goals
- Present product vision, LiveOps plans and post-event analyses; communicate the “why” behind your strategy with data and research to secure buy-in from internal stakeholders and external partners
- Mentor other game designers and raise team craft through feedback and reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Game Designer within the mobile or web F2P industry, with hands-on systems/economy and LiveOps experience
- Deep familiarity with top-grossing casual games and F2P mechanics; you know what keeps players returning and spending, and can anticipate shifts in player behavior or monetization patterns
- Ability to translate complex data and KPIs into actionable design changes and clear roadmaps, balancing player enjoyment with business objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; concise specs and clear presentation skills
- Proven experience in cross-functional teams; you integrate creative, technical and commercial perspectives into a cohesive product direction
- Experience in mentorship or leadership, fostering designer growth, and promoting a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Bonus: game economy design specialization; puzzle/casual background; HTML5/web distribution experience
Benefits
- An international team of 50+ professionals from almost 20 different countries;
- Work closely with some of the biggest (upcoming) game platforms in the world on high-quality casual games that are played by millions of gamers;
- Competitive remuneration;
- A flexible remote working environment;
