About the role
- Conduct phone and email outreach to prospective donors, securing meetings with senior leadership.
- Engage prospects professionally over the phone, discussing financial contributions and alignment with organizational goals.
- Follow up consistently, tracking pending pledges and re-engaging unreachable prospects.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships, fostering potential donor engagement.
- Maintain detailed records of all outreach activities and interactions in Salesforce.
- Build a portfolio of committed donors from secured prospects.
- Report outcomes and progress regularly to the Sr. VP of External Relations
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales or fundraising experience, ideally in nonprofit or advocacy settings.
- Proficiency with CRM/DMS systems, Salesforce preferred.
- Skilled in Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, Excel, Anedot, and research tools (e.g., Melissa Search, Hunter.io, Smarty.com).
