About the role
- Ensure compliance with social and ethical standards within WIETA, SIZA, and SMETA frameworks.
- Conduct social audits and assessments.
- Provide training where necessary for candidates lacking experience in certain schemes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of audits and compliance activities.
Requirements
- A 2–3-year tertiary qualification in Law, Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, or Agriculture.
- Recognition of prior learning will be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
- APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) in good standing.
- APSCA Membership Number and Level must be provided.
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification work experience (preferably 3 years in Primary Agriculture).
- Proven audit experience, including at least 25 onsite auditor days under the guidance of a Lead Auditor and 2 satisfactory audits formally assessed by competent Lead Auditors.
- Strong written, editing, and oral communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with cultural adaptability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Willingness to travel.
