Threat Intelligence Specialist

• The Protective Intelligence Analyst will support a major Control Risks client by delivering focused, actionable intelligence to protect executive teams and key personnel.
• The role involves identifying and assessing threats through OSINT, social media monitoring, investigative platforms, and security intelligence tools; conducting executive vulnerability assessments, POI investigations, and exposure reviews; and providing rapid analysis of emerging security situations.
• The analyst will manage and triage intelligence requests, contribute to the analysis of global incident and suspicious activity reporting, and produce clear briefings and reports on protective intelligence issues to support informed executive security decision‑making.
• Proactively identify, monitor, research, analyze and provide warnings regarding emerging threats, trends and global events that may impact the client’s executive teams.
• Identify and assess threats to the client’s executives and personnel through OSINT, social media monitoring, investigative platforms and security intelligence tools.

• Review and process abuse and safety incident reports, particularly those involving potential harm to minors, while following established operational procedures.
• Conduct open-source and in-platform investigations into behavioral abuse and threat actors to identify techniques, context, and impact.

• The responsibility extends to identifying and converting revenue opportunities and project pipeline creation for Control Risks intelligence & analysis services, with a particular focus on Geopolitical Advisory and Retained Services.
• The Global Risk Analysis Director, Geopolitical Strategic Advisory, will contribute to researching market needs in the geopolitical advisory space, developing product and service offerings, and formulating a go-to-market strategy for advisory and retained service offerings.
• The candidate should be a proven salesperson / relationship manager with a broad range of experience working in an international consulting firm that advises clients on geopolitical, integrity, or security issues.
• Expertise in managing accounts for a global service provider and a solid business development track record are a must.
• The candidate is expected to bring a strong network of existing buyer contacts from the government relations / public affairs / strategy functions of MNCs and financial services firms – especially those based in Washington DC.

• Control Risks is looking to hire a Senior Open Source Intelligence Analyst to support a premier client of ours. The Senior Open Source Intelligence Analyst will conduct research and provide intelligence to the threat management team in a timely manner to support the investigation and mitigation of threatening incidents or behaviours.
• OSINT analysts also support Executive Protection and employee, facility, event safety and security by providing persistent situational awareness research and support.
• Assist the Open Source Intelligence Program Manager as required to fulfil project requirements, assist in task delegation, and provide quality control.
• Review intelligence reports for grammatical and spelling errors as well as research and analysis quality.

• The focus will be on the implementation of advanced vetting technologies and enhancing our diligence framework to ensure hiring is conducted with maximum trust.
• Fraud & Identity Mitigation: Spearhead the adoption of Identity Verification (IDV) controls and Enhanced Talent Diligence protocols to identify and prevent fraudulent applicants, particularly those suspected of being linked to DPRK-affiliated threats.
• H1 Project Execution: Lead the effective deployment and refinement of the Socure integration and other screening tools to enhance vetting rigor while maintaining swift onboarding processes.
