About the role

  • Trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, private market investors and law firms in the region
  • Help clients understand and manage business risks in complex environments
  • Evaluate potential local partners and investments, map sources of reputational and integrity risk, and conduct investigations to respond to internal and external threats
  • Produce clear, analytical and exceptionally well-written reports combining OSINT research, interviews and analysis
  • Act as Project Leader for BI projects, manage multiple projects and handle project administration
  • Produce high-quality reports incorporating human intelligence and stage 2 analysis to help clients make decisions
  • Support Client Managers by preparing and presenting elements of investigations to clients
  • Work proactively with subcontractors, providing strong briefing and debriefing
  • Draft and price proposals, contribute to marketing and business development, identify and vet subcontractors, and produce thought leadership

Requirements

  • Excellent command of English language
  • Professional experience in consulting / financial services / journalism / government / research-driven roles where the below skills can be evidenced in a work environment
  • Substantial knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in conducting independent OSINT and public record research
  • Excellent ability to analyse and interpret research findings
  • General knowledge and deep understanding of political and business trends in South Asia
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
  • Ability to work well with others in a team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong ability to process complex legal documents and navigate listed company disclosures
  • Experience of or exposure to ESG due diligence
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • Specific knowledge of the financial sector, including the ability to read and analyse financial data
  • Experience of data analytics or data visualisation
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (international relations, politics, economics, business, finance, journalism/communications, social sciences)
