About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build a performance testing architecture and performance test cloud-based microservices and Point of Sale applications
Perform manual and automation testing, especially during regression cycles
Test next-generation products using advanced testing techniques
Execute test cases manually and with automation scripts using continuous integration tools such as TeamCity and Xray
Analyze test results
Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for local performance testing environments
Apply computer science knowledge to real-world problems
Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospectives
Explore product behavior during testing and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues
Provide work-hour overlap until 5pm EST (PKT 2:00 AM) during the first two months

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed a degree or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar streams
Preferably 6–8 years of professional experience in performance testing software systems running on Java microservices
Solid experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
Strong foundation in manual testing
Proficiency in Java and ability to adapt to an existing automation framework
Hands-on experience with API automation, especially RestAssured
Programming skills in Java, C, C++, JavaScript, or similar
Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
Experience with data structures or algorithms from school or work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems
