About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and own the daily cross-functional operational readiness of VA’s enterprise Microsoft Power Platform and associated program support
  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other setup options
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Integrate Power Automate flows with Microsoft Azure App gateways and APIM deployments
  • Craft Power Apps and Power Platform solutions and share knowledge with pro-developers and citizen developers
  • Integrate business strategy and software capability knowledge into product direction
  • Train and support end users and act as an escalation point for internal issues
  • Identify trends and predict future needs to improve customer service and experience
  • Architect and design Power Platform tenants and environments
  • Liaise with IT, Security, and other technical groups to implement integration needs
  • Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams for consistent client interaction and solution delivery
  • Manage Azure subscriptions and support Azure deployments
  • Design and implement Power Platform/D365 solutions that satisfy customer requirements
  • Maintain services integrated with cloud environments, proprietary systems, and external integrations
  • Participate in the enterprise Microsoft Power Platform program to guide the roadmap and solve program gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline required, or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of help desk or customer service experience
  • 8+ years of Microsoft Power Platform or D365 platform administration experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Power Platform or D365 development experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Reliable internet service for effective telecommuting
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform model-driven and canvas app solutions
  • Experience architecting and designing Power Platform tenants and environments
  • Familiarity with Azure subscription management and Azure deployments
  • Preferred certifications or willingness to obtain: PL-100, PL-200, MB-901, PL/MB-600, PL-400, PL-900
