About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning, operation and further development of network and firewall infrastructures
- Administration of Linux systems or Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory
- Support in 2nd-level support and handling technical inquiries
- Performing fault analyses and performance optimizations
- Participation in IT security projects and audits
- Participation in on-call duties to ensure operational continuity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed IT training, degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in network administration and firewall management
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, PowerShell or Linux and associated server infrastructures
- Independent and structured working style
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills
