About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise national civil, environmental, corporate criminal, administrative and arbitral litigation
- Define defense strategies and coordinate partner external law firms
- Ensure technical consistency and predictability of provisions in high-value or reputationally sensitive cases
- Lead the management of strategic environmental, criminal and arbitration cases
- Manage direct interlocution with the Public Prosecutor's Office, regulatory bodies, judges, expert witnesses, arbitral tribunals and opposing counsel
- Oversee the contracts area, ensuring the legal quality of instruments entered into by the Company
- Lead the judicial credit recovery strategy for receivables owed directly to Tenda
- Manage administrative trademark and patent procedures before the INPI and other competent authorities
- Manage claims regulation procedures with insurers
- Represent the Company in hearings, meetings with public authorities, arbitral forums and high-value negotiations
- Manage the performance of teams and coordinators under your supervision
- Ensure technical consistency and cohesion across the areas under your management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree
- Active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
- Postgraduate degree in Civil Law, Environmental Law, Procedural Law, Contracts or Intellectual Property is a relevant plus
- 12+ years of legal experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership position within a large corporate legal department or a highly reputed law firm with team management responsibilities
- Solid experience in strategic civil litigation, with exposure to environmental, corporate criminal, administrative or arbitral matters
- Experience in judicial recovery of real estate credits, with mastery of collection mechanisms, repossession of units and negotiation with debtors in the context of the My House, My Life program (MCMV)
- Experience managing large-scale contracts, interfacing with operational and commercial areas
- Familiarity with trademark and patent procedures before the INPI and with managing insurance policies and claims with insurers
- Proven track record of interlocution with high-level external stakeholders: Public Prosecutor's Office, judges, expert witnesses, arbitral tribunals, partner law firms and opposing counsel in significant litigation
