About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The position is part of the highest leadership level of Tenda's legal department, with direct supervision over labor and tax litigation, corporate law and legal transformation.
Acts as a strategic link between executive leadership and the coordinators and teams of the areas under their responsibility.
Manage national labor litigation, including defense strategy, relationships with external partner law firms, collective bargaining negotiations and interface with the People & Management team on preventive measures and liability mitigation;
Lead tax litigation activities, ensuring technical consistency in administrative and judicial defenses, contingency management and qualified interaction with controllership, finance and internal and external auditors;
Supervise the corporate team, ensuring the execution of corporate acts, compliance with regulatory obligations before CVM and B3 (including Novo Mercado), support for reorganizations and structured transactions, and the legal certainty of the company’s governance decisions;
Lead the Legal Transformation and Legal Operations agenda, promoting process modernization, adoption of legal technology and building an analytical, data-driven culture within the department;
Conduct high-level institutional interlocution with relevant external agents (Public Prosecutor's Office, government legal offices, judges, expert witnesses, opposing and partner law firms), representing the Company with technical authority and an institutional posture in high-sensitivity and high-visibility contexts;
Manage the performance of the teams and coordinators under your supervision, focusing on the development of mid-level leadership, the technical quality of deliverables and the construction of a high-expectation, high-support environment;
Ensure technical consistency and cohesion across the areas under your management, promoting integration between teams and uniformity of the company’s legal positions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree
Active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
Postgraduate degree in Business Law, Tax Law, Corporate Law or Legal Management is a strong asset
12 years or more of legal experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership position within a large corporate legal department or at a high-reputation law firm managing teams
Solid experience in at least two of the following areas: labor litigation, tax litigation or corporate law, with the capacity to provide qualified technical supervision in the others
Experience managing labor litigation in the construction or real estate development sector is a significant advantage
Knowledge of CVM, Novo Mercado (the highest corporate governance segment of B3) and corporate structures of publicly traded companies
Familiarity with legal digital transformation agendas (Legal Ops, predictive tools, process automation, management by indicators/KPIs)
Proven track record of interlocution with high-level external stakeholders: Public Prosecutor's Office, judges, expert witnesses, partner and opposing law firms in significant litigation
