About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Control and review budgets for construction projects, ensuring the reliability of financial information.
- Perform planned vs. actual analyses, identifying, explaining and monitoring cost variances.
- Develop and update cost trends and financial projections.
- Monitor the physical progress of construction works, evaluating activities that are ahead or behind schedule and their financial impacts.
- Ensure proper structuring and management of costs in systems such as SAP and Gescorp GO.
- Analyze accounting entries, reclassifications and expense allocations to ensure the quality of financial information.
- Control the project’s estimated costs, advances and financial commitments of the construction works until project closure.
- Prepare and analyze KPIs and management reports to support decision-making.
- Participate in defining and finalizing the initial budget for projects.
- Support cost governance by proposing improvements to control structures and budget detail.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Production/Industrial Engineering
- Experience in construction, budgeting or physical-financial planning
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience in physical and financial control of construction works is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is desirable
- Availability for periodic visits to regional construction sites
- Must reside in São Paulo, SP or the metropolitan region.
