Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the safe and strategic management of land acquisition processes, guaranteeing risk mitigation and legal compliance of transactions.
Ensure the viability and launch of developments in compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.
Act as a strategic partner to business areas, providing consultative support to internal clients with a focus on legal security, agility and excellence in service.
Enable the structuring and formalization of project financing operations with financial institutions, ensuring fulfillment of the requirements necessary to secure funding.
Promote a preventive approach to identifying, assessing and mitigating legal, regulatory and operational risks, contributing to the protection of the company’s interests.
Lead, develop and engage the team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment with accountability and alignment to the organization’s strategic objectives.
Manage the department budget, ensuring efficient control of resources, adherence to budget planning and optimization of costs under your responsibility.
Ensure the legal security of corporate operations and decisions, contributing to business sustainability and value creation for the company.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: University degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) with active and regular registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Proven consolidated experience in the legal department of real estate developers, construction companies, land development firms or law firms specialized in Real Estate.
Strong knowledge of the Real Estate Incorporation Law, the Law on Contract Termination (Lei do Distrato), structuring of Special Purpose Companies (SPEs) and the "patrimônio de afetação" (property segregation regime).
Practical experience conducting legal audits/due diligence for secure land acquisitions.
Solid knowledge in the legal structuring of real estate financing (construction financing support, corporate financing plans) and guarantees (fiduciary transfer of title/"alienação fiduciária" and mortgage).
Proven experience leading and developing corporate legal teams.
