About the role
- Execute contracting processes for construction services (direct supplies), with a focus on infrastructure and civil scopes;
- Receive and review technical project documents, ensuring adherence to contracting scopes;
- Conduct quotation processes with suppliers, sending technical documentation and normalizing proposals;
- Perform technical and commercial comparative analysis (proposal equalization) of received bids;
- Interact with site engineers and suppliers to validate scopes, assumptions and technical feasibility;
- Support negotiations to ensure the best cost–benefit for the company;
- Formalize contracts through systems (SAP and/or e-procurement platforms);
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth response to site demands;
- Participate in site visits to gain technical understanding and align with stakeholders;
- Support process improvements and the transition to new procurement tools;
- Compare budgeted amounts vs. contracted values to enable agile decision-making by the Procurement and site teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of budgeting, bid preparation, purchasing and project control processes;
- Analyze incurred and remaining project costs to address key indicators;
- Update and validate the Company’s Unit Price List (LPU) monthly to consolidate information and publish the revised LPU to inform project and construction cost trends;
- Contribute to analyses, generation of indicators and data verification from current systems and controls to assist the area manager in continuously improving the information and visibility provided to Operations managers;
- Promote continuous improvement of existing processes and document procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields;
- Previous experience in Procurement or Purchasing, with a focus on contracting construction services;
- Experience in construction site environments, whether through direct work, internship or interface with engineering teams;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel;
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
