About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, maintain, and automate dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI and other visualization tools
Design, build, and maintain data ETL pipelines from SQL databases, SharePoint, Excel, and other sources
Optimize and refine existing SQL queries and dashboards
Maintain accurate documentation for client dashboards and associated SQL queries
Collaborate with clients and technical resources to gather and integrate business requirements into effective data visualizations
Translate complex data findings into clear, digestible insights for stakeholders
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards
Coordinate with other developers on data extraction, transformation, and loading
Present technical solutions and business value to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4 years of experience working with large datasets in a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Advanced understanding of SQL, including query optimization, common table expressions (CTEs), and complex joins
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and translating complex data findings for non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree required; major in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred
U.S. citizenship required
Must be able to pass a background investigation by the client agency
DHS clearance with CBP or ICE preferred
Experience developing in Python (Pandas) for data analysis preferred
Experience developing PowerApps and Power Automate solutions preferred
