About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate complex data requirements into intuitive, high-performance user interfaces with analysts and stakeholders
Build and maintain responsive React web applications integrated with backend services and APIs
Support backend logic and data services using Java/Spring or equivalent frameworks
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical design sessions
Write unit tests and participate in CI/CD workflows to ensure production code reliability
Support mission-critical applications integrating data collection, operational reporting, and intelligent automation for national security objectives
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused capabilities across multiple workstreams

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–5 years of professional software development experience
Frontend experience with React and backend experience with Java/Spring, C#/.NET, or similar enterprise-grade languages
Strong experience with HTML, TypeScript, and CSS
Experience with responsive design and modern UI/UX
Understanding of RESTful APIs, React component design, component libraries, and secure web development practices
Proficiency writing unit tests with frameworks such as Jest
Experience in collaborative code environments
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a client-agency background investigation
Live coding exercise using a React application is part of the interview process
DHS clearance with CBP/ICE or DoD Top-Secret preferred
