About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deliver shippable features within Agile Scrum teams
- Build robust and scalable applications using Java and modern web technologies
- Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new business functionalities
- Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of the software solution portfolio through innovative ideas and technical initiatives
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions
- Participate in code reviews and promote development standards across the team
- Support and mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge and technical expertise
- Ensure the stability, performance, and maintainability of existing applications
- Write and maintain automated tests to guarantee software quality and reliability
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and application issues
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teams
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize deployment and operational processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience in demanding software development environments
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and object-oriented software development
- Solid experience with Hibernate, SQL/PL-SQL, and relational databases
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and modern front-end technologies; Angular is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, JUnit, and software development best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and industrialized development environments
- Keen interest in Open Source technologies, software quality, refactoring, and Agile methodologies
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; French is a strong plus.
