Monitoring Engineer
Consort GroupExpert Supervision / Monitoring Engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing monitoring infrastructure. Collaborating within a team in a dynamic nearshore business environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, deploy and evolve monitoring and supervision solutions
- Own the technical responsibility for monitoring and metrology tools
- Implement optimizations and continuous improvements for monitoring platforms
- Contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting
- Manage obsolescence and anticipate technology refreshes
- Apply version and security patches in accordance with security guidelines
- Maintain monitoring, metrology and automation platforms in a healthy operational state
- Monitor infrastructure performance and availability
- Track maintenance windows and renewals
- Handle incidents and participate in root cause analyses
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, network and end-user environment teams
- Participate in technical and operational meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 6 years of experience in demanding infrastructure and monitoring environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools in complex infrastructures
- Micro Focus OMi & BPM
- Dynatrace (v7.x)
- Zabbix
- Capacity planning and performance monitoring
- Patch management (version and security)
- Enterprise infrastructure environments (Agile/DevOps mindset)
- Language skills: English - C1, French - C1
