About the role

  • Perform daily reconciliation of P&L between Front Office and Back Office systems
  • Identify, analyse and explain P&L breaks
  • Contribute to the improvement of P&L processes and control frameworks
  • Participate in the definition and enhancement of reconciliation methodologies
  • Support the development of efficient reporting and control tools (Excel / VBA)
  • Produce and validate daily and periodic P&L figures
  • Ensure accurate P&L explain and reporting to stakeholders
  • Act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Risk and Finance teams
  • Answer stakeholders’ questions related to P&L and valuation topics
  • Ensure controls are performed in line with internal procedures and standards

Requirements

  • Experience in Finance/Control functions within demanding financial environments
  • P&L reconciliation and analysis
  • ALM / Treasury (ALMT) concepts
  • IFRS 9 concepts
  • Advanced Excel
  • VBA
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Attention to detail and strong control mindset
  • Clear and professional communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive attitude towards process improvement
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Portuguese
