About the role
- Perform daily reconciliation of P&L between Front Office and Back Office systems
- Identify, analyse and explain P&L breaks
- Contribute to the improvement of P&L processes and control frameworks
- Participate in the definition and enhancement of reconciliation methodologies
- Support the development of efficient reporting and control tools (Excel / VBA)
- Produce and validate daily and periodic P&L figures
- Ensure accurate P&L explain and reporting to stakeholders
- Act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Risk and Finance teams
- Answer stakeholders’ questions related to P&L and valuation topics
- Ensure controls are performed in line with internal procedures and standards
Requirements
- Experience in Finance/Control functions within demanding financial environments
- P&L reconciliation and analysis
- ALM / Treasury (ALMT) concepts
- IFRS 9 concepts
- Advanced Excel
- VBA
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong control mindset
- Clear and professional communication with stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude towards process improvement
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Portuguese
