About the role

  • Develop new features for existing applications (internal & external)
  • Contribute to technical decisions and the evolution of the application architecture (PHP / Laravel and Node.js)
  • Design and improve data schemas and associated migrations
  • Improve code quality (refactoring, performance, best practices)
  • Implement unit and functional tests to secure releases
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Contribute to frontend improvements (JavaScript / HTML / CSS) when necessary
  • Provide corrective maintenance: analyze, diagnose and fix bugs
  • Ensure stability and robustness of applications in production
  • Plan and carry out PHP and Laravel framework upgrades as well as Node.js environment updates
  • Manage dependency compatibility and migration of deprecated features
  • Optimize SQL queries and overall application performance
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency and reliability
  • Participate in versioning, deployments and maintaining operational readiness

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in demanding web environments
  • Tech: PHP | Laravel | MySQL | SQL | Node.js
  • Frontend: JavaScript | HTML5 | CSS3
  • Tools: Git | Docker
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Rigour and a strong focus on quality (tests, documentation, best practices)
  • Autonomy, reliability and proactivity
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a technical team
