About the role
- Design, develop and maintain infrastructure modules, components and utilities for the eTrading platform
- Own and continuously improve the SDLC pipeline, including CI/CD processes and tooling migrations
- Automate application and infrastructure configuration using infrastructure-as-code principles
- Contribute to performance-driven infrastructure design leveraging modern hardware and network solutions
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver resilient and scalable platform solutions
- Support the application landscape across bare-metal and virtualized environments
- Troubleshoot Linux systems, network issues and TCP/IP stack behaviour in low-latency contexts
- Work closely with Production Support teams to ensure platform stability and performance
- Monitor platform health using enterprise observability tools and proactively address issues
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in demanding SRE / DevOps environments
- Linux / UNIX systems and OS fundamentals
- SDLC toolset: Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimisation
- Networking fundamentals and TCP/IP stack
- Monitoring and observability tools: ITRS Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana
- Scripting and automation: Python (expert), Bash (expert)
- Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet (practice)
- Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm (practice)
- Programming exposure: Java / C# / C++ (notions)
- Agile development methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and natural curiosity
