Engage with educators to validate and iterate the models driving analytics
Develop understanding of algorithms, supporting technologies and platforms, and proprietary educational content
Synthesize knowledge into actionable tests
Build modules to identify each individual student’s academic needs
Contribute to data infrastructure and insightful analytics to improve education

Requirements

What you’ll need

Creative problem-solving and ability to work with messy, real-world data
Strong math/quantitative skills and excellent attention to detail
Curiosity about using data to improve learning and student outcomes
Studying or having studied Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Some coding experience and strong interest in technology and AI
Experience with SQL, Python data tools such as Pandas or NumPy, or similar
Experience building simple data pipelines or Python analysis scripts
Proficiency with advanced Excel formulas and functions, tables and formatting, conditional formatting, advanced charting and visualizations, pivot tables and pivot reporting
Productive use of Excel for analysis, including data tables, simulations, and Solver
U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, or authorization to work in the U.S. for this employer
