About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and motivate students through high-quality virtual instruction
- Deliver synchronous and asynchronous instruction
- Provide intervention and enrichment for students
- Engage with families and provide clear feedback on student assessments
- Administer, score, and provide feedback on assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff in the Professional Learning Community
- Assist in organizing school-wide events and student recruitment efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in the content area or related field
- Georgia Clearance Certificate
- Must have middle grades certification in Language Arts, Math, Science, or Social Science (4-8)
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly organized and punctual
- Student and family-focused approach
- Experience in teaching or supporting Title I schools
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours as necessary
