Administrative Assistant
Connections AcademyAdministrative Assistant providing secretarial and administrative support for Texas Connections Academy in a fully remote role. Ensuring smooth operation of the High School through diverse clerical tasks and communication management.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general secretarial and administrative support to the principal and the upper division leadership team
- Perform a variety of clerical duties to support daily school operations
- Handle internal and external correspondence/communication with discretion and accuracy
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Assist staff, students and parents with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain a working knowledge of school policies, events, and public information
- Prepare and submit purchase orders and vendor invoices
- Assist in coordinating interviews, scheduling applicants, tracking interview data
- Serve as a liaison between the High School teams and Enrollment Department
- Generate reports and prepare documents for school level projects
- Attend virtual and in-person department, school or district meetings as required
- Participate in occasional in-person activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree strongly preferred
- 2-4 years of working in a school or office setting required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Google Suite as well as web-based applications is essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
