About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools
Connect with students using webcams and web conferencing software
Manage caseload using the company's online Education Management System
Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment
Maintain positive working relationships with the LiveSpeech team and schools
Conduct screenings and evaluate students’ communication needs
Communicate regularly with parents/learning coaches and school staff regarding IEP goals
Schedule, organize and conduct IEP related meetings in a virtual environment as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
Must hold active/valid state and/or Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology required in state of residence
Ability to obtain and maintain multiple required state certifications and clearances as assigned
2+ years experience in K-12 school setting
Strong technology skills
High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
