About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with the Counseling Services leadership team to implement a comprehensive counseling program based on the ASCA national model.
Focus on High School graduation requirements and maximization of data to drive targeted support for students, families, and staff.
Keep abreast of all high school graduation requirements, including special requirements.
Improve and support systems to access and utilize data throughout the school year cycle.
Collaborate with school administration and teachers to support students who are failing.
Understand the requirements for postsecondary readiness programs, including Advanced Placement support, SAT and ACT Preparation, Career Technical and college admissions planning, scholarships, financial aid workshops.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ohio School Counselor license
Master’s Degree
High School Counseling experience preferred
Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Customer-focused approach
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
High degree of flexibility
Team player with demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
